Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Signal Garden ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our Service. Bold Signal reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of Signal Garden following changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Description of Service
Signal Garden is an AI visibility audit platform that analyzes how AI assistants and search engines represent your business. The Service provides audit reports, readiness scores, and recommendations for improving your visibility across AI search. Signal Garden is provided on an as-is basis. We continually improve and modify features, and we reserve the right to change or discontinue aspects of the Service at any time.
User Accounts & Registration
Account Creation
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized or not. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Bold Signal is not liable for unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your password.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the Service.
User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the Service to audit domains you do not own or have authority to audit (without explicit permission); attempt to gain unauthorized access to Signal Garden systems or other users' accounts; transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code; engage in automated access or scraping (beyond our authorized API usage); use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate any laws; harass, abuse, or threaten other users or Signal Garden staff; or attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the Service.
Content Ownership
When you audit a domain, you remain the owner of any data you provide. Signal Garden has the right to use aggregated, anonymized audit data for analytics and service improvement. Audit reports are generated by our system based on real AI engine queries and are provided as-is for informational purposes only.
User-Generated Content
Any feedback, suggestions, or information you provide to us is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We may use this information for any purpose without compensation to you.
Billing & Payment
Free Tier
Signal Garden offers a free tier allowing one audit per seven days. We reserve the right to limit or modify free tier access.
Paid Subscriptions
If you upgrade to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase. Billing is processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees according to the billing cycle you selected.
Billing Cycles & Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. You will be charged on the renewal date unless you cancel before that date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds & Cancellation
Subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not refund charges already processed.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes apply to new subscribers immediately and to existing subscribers at the start of their next billing cycle. We will provide notice of material price increases.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may retry charging your payment method. Repeated failed payments may result in account suspension or termination.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our IP
Signal Garden, including its software, design, functionality, and documentation, is owned by Bold Signal and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Signal Garden solely for your personal or business use in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions
You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works based on Signal Garden; sell, rent, or lease access to the Service; reverse-engineer or decompile the code; remove any copyright or proprietary notices; or use the Service to compete with Bold Signal.
Third-Party Components
Signal Garden may include third-party software, libraries, and services. Such components are used under their respective licenses. Bold Signal does not claim ownership of third-party components.
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimers
SIGNAL GARDEN IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Liability Caps
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOLD SIGNAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANY AMOUNT, LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
Excluded Damages
IN NO EVENT SHALL BOLD SIGNAL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Information Accuracy
Audit reports and scores are generated based on real AI engine queries at the time of audit. AI responses change frequently, and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that following recommendations will result in improved AI visibility. Business decisions should not be made solely based on audit results.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bold Signal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use of Signal Garden; your violation of these Terms; your audit of domains without authorization; or your infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
Third-Party Services & Links
External Services
Signal Garden integrates with third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and AI service providers (GPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms, not ours.
Third-Party Links
Signal Garden may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Access to third-party sites is at your own risk.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of Signal Garden is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data collection and handling practices. By using Signal Garden, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by You
You may terminate your account and stop using Signal Garden at any time by deleting your account through account settings or by contacting us.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Signal Garden if: you violate these Terms; you engage in prohibited conduct; you fail to pay subscription fees; or we determine it is necessary to protect the security or integrity of Signal Garden.
Upon Termination
Upon termination, your right to use Signal Garden immediately ceases. We may delete your account data after a grace period. You remain liable for any unpaid fees or damages incurred before termination.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to Signal Garden shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration rather than litigation (except for claims seeking injunctive relief). Arbitration will be conducted under the American Arbitration Association rules.
Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding the arbitration clause, either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent irreparable harm related to intellectual property infringement or misuse of the Service.
Entire Agreement & Severability
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on Signal Garden, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bold Signal regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or by posting on our website. Your continued use of Signal Garden after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms regularly.

Consulting Services
Separate Consulting Agreements
Bold Signal offers consulting, strategy, and advisory services in addition to the Signal Garden product. Any consulting engagements are governed by separate written agreements, statements of work, and engagement terms negotiated specifically for that engagement. These consulting terms take precedence over this Terms & Conditions document.
Scope & Deliverables
Consulting services scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and success metrics are defined in the individual consulting agreement for each engagement. Bold Signal is not obligated to provide consulting services under this Terms & Conditions.
Confidentiality & NDAs
Consulting engagements typically include confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements to protect sensitive business information shared during the engagement. These confidentiality obligations are binding and supersede any general terms in this document.
Liability & Warranties
Consulting services liability, warranties, and limitation clauses are defined in the individual consulting agreement and may differ from the limitation of liability section in this Terms & Conditions document.
